2017 Daytona Beach Country 500 Festival
The Daytona International Speedway is known for a lot of things. NASCAR, racing, motorcycles, car shows… the list goes on. What it’s not normally known for is music. Sure, NASCAR will normally have an artist play before the Daytona 500 or Coke Zero 400, but they are an afterthought to the race. Well, times are changing. Beginning last year, DIS holds the “Great American Music Fest at Daytona” or Country 500 for short. The first year was a huge success, but the 2017 Daytona Beach Country 500 Festival is going to be bigger and better.
Country 500 is held in the infield of Daytona International Speedway, with multiple stages featuring your favorite country artists. Those attending the festival are able to camp in the infield and enjoy a three-day party. The 2017 Country 500 Festival will be held on Memorial Day Weekend, May 26-28. There will be opportunities to meet the stars of the show throughout the weekend. The price of a three-day pass will vary from $185 to $250, depending on how early you purchase them. Also offered is a VIP Pit Pass, which will allow you access to private facilities and a special concert viewing area. VIP Pit Passes are $699. The cream-of-the-crop is the Crew Chief VIP Pass that will allow you to literally stand on the stage and watch the shows. This package runs $999.
So for the question you’ve been wondering, who’s playing this year? The headliners for Country 500 2017 are Blake Shelton, Kid Rock, Miranda Lambert, Hank Williams Jr., Keith Urban Thomas Rhett, Brooks & Dunn and Martina McBride. The greatest in country music will be taking the stage in Daytona!
That’s not all though! Also featured are Kip Moore, Dan + Shay and Jamey Johnson. You’ll get to see Travis Tritt, Chris Janson, Chase Rice, Maddie & Tae, as well as A Thousand Horses. Not enough? Listen to Pat Green, Easton Corbin, Eric Paslay, Colt Ford and Mark Chesnutt. There’s even more to be announced.
If you’re a country music fan, the 2017 Daytona Beach Country 500 Festival is a must-see. Get ready for a weekend of great music and great times in Daytona Beach!
