Daytona Beach, The Festival Capital of Florida

Daytona Beach, also known as the Festival Capital of Florida, hosts more than 60 events and festivals each year. No wonder it is called the “Festival Capital of Florida.” Whether it’s the racetrack, food, music, bikes, arts, or holidays, there is something for everyone to enjoy here in Daytona. Here are a few events in December you won’t want to miss out on. Which one tops your list of things to do?

Walk Through Bethlehem- Dec 15-17

This free event located at CrossRoads Ministries in Daytona Beach is like no other. The Walk Through Bethlehem is a 22,000 square foot city that tells the story of Christmas. This event is from 6-9pm but makes sure you head over there early because the line builds up fast!

Magic of Lights Daytona- Every day until Dec 31

Daytona International Speedway is hosting this 1.5-mile long Magic of Lights Holiday experience that you and the family have to see to believe. From 5-10pm drive your car on the Daytona racetrack and be wowed by all the lights. Each car is $20 and the proceeds will go to the Florida Hospital Foundation.

New Year’s Eve in Daytona Beach- Dec 31

Hit off the New Year at the oceanfront Bandshell while listening to live music, enjoy food vendors and pick up a few New Year souvenirs. Fireworks will go off over the Atlantic Ocean at midnight. There is something for everyone in the family at this traditional event!

While you are enjoying these events, you may notice some other beautiful lights in the distance. They are shining from Daytona’s incredibly new & modern waterfront condominiums, amazingly priced from the $200s to the $600s.

Located just minutes from all of these fun-filled events is Marina Grande Daytona. This 25-story twin tower condominium, located on the Halifax River where all of the residences overlook the Intracoastal Waterway and most the Atlantic Ocean too. Now is the time to enjoy the “new” Daytona, and make a smart real estate decision at the same time. You’ll have to see this unbelievable opportunity to believe it.
