Fun In Daytona Beach

So you’re making your way to “The World’s Most Famous Beach” and you’re wondering what there is to do. Well, rest easy, finding fun in Daytona Beach is as easy as throwing a shell from the shore and hitting the ocean. There is literally something for everyone in this town and we will tell you about some of our favorite spots.

Fun In Daytona Beach

You might have guessed this one, but the best place to start is… the beach! You don’t get our “famous” nickname without having something special. Daytona Beach is unique because you can actually drive on the beach. There’s nothing like driving down the beach with the windows down, feeling the salt air in your face and taking in the scenery. Once you find a parking spot, you can dip your feet in the water or lay down a blanket and soak up the sun. It’s a simple thing but we bet you won’t want to leave once you’re there.

Lining a portion of the beach is the Daytona Beach Boardwalk. This throwback to an older era offers fun for all ages. You’ll find old school carnival games, go karts, an arcade, amazing restaurants and more. You will lose track of time once you get started with all of the fun activities.

Fun Times For The Adults

If the kids are in bed and the adults want to hit the town, there are tons of great spots to hit. Both Seabreeze Boulevard and Main Street are lined with restaurants, bars, clubs and shops. Whether you’re in the mood for a drink, looking for a great bite to eat or hungry for some local grub, both streets have it all.

We wish we could name all of the great places, but there’s too much fun in Daytona Beach and not enough space on the page. We hope that you’ll love these spots and discover some of your own!
