Now that summer is in full swing, you’re going to need all of your energy to get out there and have fun! Eating a good breakfast gives you the energy you need, kickstarts your metabolism, and helps improve your memory and concentration. It can also lower your risk of getting diabetes and heart disease. Knowing how important it is to start your day right, we’ve created a list of our favorite breakfast spots just for you!

The Cracked Egg Diner

Owned by brothers Chris and Kevin Purucker, the Cracked Egg Diner is a great spot for both breakfast and lunch. Their most popular menu items include homemade apple fritters, Eggs Benedict, and their french toast. Breakfast is served all day, and lunch is served from 11 to close. The Cracked Egg Diner is located right next to the beach, so this is a great choice for breakfast before enjoying a day by the ocean.

Amazing Italian Delicacies

The Cellar, located at 220 Magnolia Avenue, is a quaint gem in Daytona Beach (though you’ll feel like you’re in Italy). The Cellar specializes in fresh pasta and upholding authentic Italian cuisine. The atmosphere is charming and the service is top notch. They have an extensive wine list which makes The Cellar the perfect destination for a date night.

Another amazing Italian option is Frappes Italian Grille, otherwise known as FIG. FIG is located just outside of Daytona in Ormond Beach (123 W Granada Blvd). The cuisine at Frappes is known as “Organically Groovy“. They specialize in adapting their menu to what is available seasonally. On the menu you will find Italian specialties with fresh, local produce and ingredients. If you’re in the mood, they have a full bar so you can enjoy your favorite libations.

Fresh, Local Seafood

Chart House is the only restaurant on the list that isn’t locally owned, but that doesn’t negate the quality. Chart House is a high-end chain that features the best, fresh seafood that you can find. Located at 1100 Marina Point Drive, Chart House sits directly on the water and provides a relaxing atmosphere. If you’re looking for luxurious seafood dishes which are prepared by top of the line chefs, this is the place for you. If you love a great steak, they also offer prime steaks cooked to perfection. Don’t skip on the salad bar, it’s the best you’ll find.
